Anoxia systems are a clean, safe and ecological system of dealing with pest problems. Anoxia disinfestations process allows the documents and objects to be held and manipulated immediately by the end of the treatment. There aren’t residual dangers neither to users nor to the environment.

EXPM provides solutions for the conservators needs in terms of services and products, specially designed for cultural institutions. We work with integrated pest control management and monitoring of insect pests activity, providing systems for controlling and treating incorporations and remaining collections.
Anoxia systems have been tested and are in current use in Europe, USA, Japan, China, Southeast Asia, Brazil and Australia.

EXPM works in partnership with Preservation Equipment, Ltd., an English company, with an old experience in the art of preservation, providing services all around the world.

In 2006, EXPM has proceeded, in partnership with Micrographics Data Pte Ltd, to the anoxia disinfestations of the collection of National Library, in Singapore. The National Library of Singapore, as moved its collections to a new and modern building. This service was established, in order to avoid the contamination with pests brought from the old building or contracted during transportation. Anoxia systems provided a clean, safe and ecological service.
